전도의 분업화(Division of Evangelical Task)-영어/한글

A lot of non-believers come to Christ through house church, comprising 3-10% of Sunday attendance per year. Such a conversion rate is possible because evangelism is done corporately, not individually. The house church members work as a team, and each one does what he/she does best.

The role of ordinary house church members in evangelism is simply inviting non-believers to house church meetings so their shepherds can take over the process. Because so many members are new Christians, they would struggle to answer questions that non-Christians may have concerning faith, making evangelism difficult.

The role of shepherds in evangelism is to convince, encourage, and get new members to take Living Life Bible Study, an introductory class led by the pastor. If shepherds were required to present the gospel to non-believers and ask them to accept Christ, evangelism would be difficult for them since many are recent converts and don’t have in-depth Biblical knowledge. After all, they were called to serve, not to teach.

The role of pastors in evangelism is to teach the Word and lead people to accept Christ. If pastors are required to seek non-believers, serve them, and build relationships with them, it would be nearly impossible because most non-believers feel uncomfortable with pastors and are reluctant to meet with them. Every party plays a specific and organic role, so evangelism is accomplished effectively.

Furthermore, when all members are involved in evangelism, evangelism becomes a part of everyday life itself, not just a ministry.

가정교회 사역원에 등록된 교회들은 1년에 장년 주일 출석 인원의 3~10%에 해당하는 비신자들에게 세례(침례)를 줍니다. 이처럼 전도가 되는 이유는 전도의 분업화 때문입니다.

일반 교회에서의 전도는, 프로그램을 통해 소수의 헌신된 사람들에 의하여 이루어집니다. 그러나 가정교회에서는 개인이 아니라 목장 공동체를 통해 영혼구원이 이루어집니다. 목장과 목사가 각각 역할을 나누어 전도를 합니다.

새로 믿는 목장 식구의 역할은 비신자를 목장에 데려오는 것입니다. 이들은 갓 예수님을 영접했기 때문에 신앙 경력이 짧습니다. 비신자들에게 신앙생활을 설명해야 한다면, 전도 못합니다. 그러나 목장에 데리고 오는 것으로 책임이 끝나니까, 전도가 쉽습니다. 그후에는 목자 목녀가 맡아서 해 주기 때문입니다.

목자의 역할은, 목장에 참석하는 비신자를 담임 목사가 인도하는 성경 공부에 참석시키는 것입니다. 이들이 비신자들에게 성경을 가르치고, 복음을 제시하고, 예수님을 영접시켜야 한다면, 전도 못합니다. 목자 목녀는 섬기는 사람들이지, 가르치는 사람들이 아니기 때문입니다. 그러나 담임 목사가 인도하는 13주짜리 기초 성경 공부, ‘생명의삶’에 등록만 시키면 책임이 끝나니까, 전도가 쉽습니다.

담임 목사의 역할은 목자들이 모아준 비신자들에게 복음을 가르쳐 예수님을 영접하도록 하는 것입니다. 담임 목사가 비신자들을 찾아내고, 만나고, 관계를 쌓아야 한다면, 전도 못합니다. 비신자들은 목사를 아예 안 만나려 하기 때문입니다. 그러나 복음을 가르치고, 예수님을 영접시키는, 목회자 본연의 말씀 사역만 하면 되니까, 전도가 쉽습니다.

이처럼 목장 식구, 목자, 목사가 각각 편하고, 잘할 수 있는 역할만 맡아 하니까, 전도가 쉽고 자연스럽게 이루어집니다. 그리고 교인 모두가 주어진 역할을 맡아 영혼 구원에 참여하니까, 전도가 프로그램이 아니라 일상의 삶이 됩니다.
